![]() Hogwarts Legacy is good enough attempt of Avalanche Studio to make climatic wizard game based on books that lack enough depth and complexity to make full open world triple A game out of it. All in all it feels like unfulfilled potential, but not terrible. The enrolling process is quite fun and gives the game a bright start which you can keep rolling with for quite a long time before other things start to annoy you. The game is enjoyable to play if you can get past those foibles. There was huge potential in the game for choices in spells and gear to have an impact on the look and aura of your character, but unfortunately there's no upside or downside to casually casting dark spells as much as you want. The scope of Hogwarts itself is impressive, however exploring becomes repetitive early on. ![]() The background music gives nostalgic feels for the earlier feels, I'd be walking around the common room and finding myself just aware enough of the score to be enchanted.
